    Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, is a type of treatment that helps people with broad needs and diminishes mental illness.

  • How Can Psychotherapy Help Me?

    Psychotherapy can help in a number of ways. Firstly, it can help you mentally expressing concerns and worries to an objective person outside your support system. Secondly, it can help your emotional state by finding grounding and healing. Third, our mind can affect our physical health so by expressing yourself you can find you have less troubling physical symptoms that have otherwise affected your body from stress.

  • What is a Social Worker?

    A social worker is an individual who works to help individuals, groups, & communities. Social workers often help populations that are vulnerable, have a multitude of needs, advocacy, & empowerment.

    An LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker is the credentialing Rebecca Sember has in which she has obtained her masters degree in social work as well as the LMSW licensure.

  • Where are sessions held?

    In-Person: Rebecca prefers to perform in-home visits as she understands the population's needs and ability to exit the home. Rebecca is also able to meet with clients in private public areas, such as a park.

    Remotely via Telehealth: Client Portal, Zoom, FaceTime

    Walking: Integrative Walking Therapy

  • How is consent for service given?

    Consent is given and signed by the individual prior to any services given. Confidentiality is respected and adhered to as per HIPAA law. If the individual signs a release of information or if a family session is necessary it would be discussed with the individual before any information is shared.

  • What are your fees?

    INSURANCE

    In-Network with CT Medicaid, Husky, or Medicare

    Out of Network can also be obtained. Please ensure your coverage is active and supply Rebecca with insurance information upon consultation.

    PRIVATE PAY

    There is a number of private pay services, initial visit, reoccurring plan of care treatment, couples, groups, resource planning, authorized representative, advanced care planning, and clinical supervision. As there is a range of services please inquire with Rebecca about these services & there cost. The practice is able to accept cash or check.
